LARRY ARNSTEIN

Larry brings broad technical and business experience to the company. Larry joins Augmented AI after a long entrepreneurial career that included helping lead Impinj to IPO in 2016 as a member of the executive leadership team, followed by the acquisition of Xnor.ai by Apple in 2019 where he was head of market and product strategy. Larry then left Apple to become the CTO and co-founder of AirTerra, a retail supply chain solution provider that was acquired by American Eagle Outfitters in 2021.

Ashwin Kadaru spearheads the development and implementation of secure and scalable AI solutions tailored to empower businesses and their workforce. Prior to joining Augmented AI, at Meta Ashwin crafted productivity tools with a strong emphasis on security. Before that, he was a software engineer at Accenture, contributing to the creation of robust enterprise-level tools. Ashwin is committed to innovation and security as a guiding principle in the development of Augmented AI's offerings.

Senator Joe Nguyen is a dynamic leader in both public service and the private sector. Elected to the Washington State Senate in 2019, Joe serves as the Chair of the Environment, Energy & Technology Committee and also serves as the Vice Chair of the budget-writing Ways & Means Committee, Senator Nguyen spearheaded the creation of Washington's first AI Task Force, positioning the state at the forefront of technology and public policy. In addition to his legislative roles, Senator Nguyen is leading Simply Augmented's public affairs and government sector work. His deep understanding of both policy and technology drives innovative partnerships and initiatives, helping government agencies leverage Generative AI to enhance public services and operations.
Zach Friend

Zach Friend is a distinguished public policy and communications expert with extensive experience in shaping significant legislative and regulatory policies at local, state, and federal levels. His career includes roles with multiple presidential campaigns, the White House Council of Economic Advisers, the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, and he has served multiple terms as a Santa Cruz County Supervisor for the Second District in California. Zach played a pivotal role in developing meaningful AI legislation across the country, from assisting on the recent Biden Administration AI Executive Order to drafting local and state-level AI policies. He was appointed to state and national AI committees that help develop policies and best practices for AI usage for local governments that ensure community interests and needs are met.

Former Washington State Senator David Frockt has been a steadfast advocate for expanding access to health care and higher education throughout his decade-long tenure in the state legislature. In addition, Frockt has actively engaged in legislative efforts to combat misinformation, particularly in the realm of artificial intelligence. He sponsored groundbreaking legislation aimed at addressing the challenges posed by deep fakes in elections, spearheading efforts to safeguard the integrity of information and uphold transparency in government processes. Senator Frockt previously served as a Congressional Aide in the US House of Representatives before moving to Seattle where he practiced law prior to joining the legislature. Beyond his legislative role, he continues to influence the healthcare sector by serving on numerous healthcare boards, playing a vital role in shaping health policies and practices.
